Zambia President Announces Scraping Death Penalty.

On the auspicious occasion of Africa Day, President of Zambia Hakainde Hichilema announced his plans to completely abolish the death penalty law. It is considered as an archaic law that holds no significance within the modern legal system. Across the majority of the globe as well as even in African nations, the death penalty has been abolished and it was the right decision from the Zambian President to make this announcement. As such, Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani praised this decision from the Zambian President. At the same time, making such an announcement is one thing, and ensuring that the announcement becomes a reality soon is a whole new level.
