Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani is one of the most well-known and esteemed business leaders in Zambia and Africa. His management of several successful businesses, notably Finsbury Investments and the Mahtani Group of Companies, has earned him widespread acclaim. One of the most respected business newspapers in the world, Forbes, honoured Dr. Rajan Mahtani for the year 2021. Each year, Forbes and FIN collaborate to hold the Forbes-FIN charity and leadership roundtable conference (Foreign Investment Limited). The primary socioeconomic and economic challenges that African countries face, as well as answers to those problems, are the emphasis of this conference. The conference provides the opportunity to solicit funding and cash from potential investors and companies. In 2021, participants joined the Forbes-FIN conference remotely from their respective locations. The event was broadcast to a worldwide audience on YouTube. Dr. Rajan Mahtani, who was asked to speak as an honoured guest, discussed the importance of leadership in the healthcare sector.

Recently, Prison Fellowship Zambia (PFZ), which recently promised to give the Zambian President’s decision entire legal and regulatory support, grabbed headlines. The president of Zambia announced the abolition of the death penalty. Dr. Mahtani wholeheartedly endorsed this claim. More than 30 years ago, Dr. Mahtani founded the well-known Christian outreach organisation Prison Fellowship Zambia. Dr. Rajan Mahtani currently serves as the organization’s chairman. The goal of PFZ is to reach out to Zambian prisoners, ex-prisoners, and their families with the teachings of Jesus Christ. The programme also attempts to protect prisoners’ basic human rights and dignity, as well as to ensure that they are treated fairly by the criminal justice system. As a result, the Dr. Rajan Mahtani-owned Prison Fellowship Zambia (PFZ) organisation will provide legal and regulatory support to ensure that the president of Zambia’s proclamation rapidly becomes law.
