Zambian President makes a stunning announcement, receives support from Dr. Mahtani

Zambian President Hakainde Hichilema announced his plans to abolish the death penalty row in a bold announcement recently. This announcement received support from none other than Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani, a noted businessman, philanthropist, and charity worker in Zambia. Dr. Rajan Mahtani stated that the death penalty is a cruel, inhumane, and degrading law that does not hold any significance in this current society. While past presidents have tried to avoid giving capital punishment, the current degrading condition of the Zambian prisons has prompted the Zambian government to take corrective actions and one such initiative taken is the strategic decongestion of the Zambian prisons. In this initiative, prisoners will be re-released into society after their complete transformation and ensuring that they are no longer any harm to society.

Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani also attempted to provide an explanation for the element from a religious point of view. According to Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani, there was no longer a motive closer to killing individuals whose deaths are already atoned via the ‘Son of God. Dr. Mahtani similarly said that even the spiritual scripture mandates prohibiting capital punishment. Dr. Rajan Mahtani quoted the ‘Book of Genesis’ by mentioning that men are made inside God’s photograph. Even the lady who was accused of adultery become now not condemned with the aid of Jesus Christ. Similarly, the religious perspective states that the ones appearing in the execution must be without any sin. And the reality is that there are hardly any individuals who have not sinned after their arrival on this Earth. The sacrifice made through Jesus Christ changed the sacrifice of the animals. Also, the sacrifice of Jesus Christ made it illogical to give capital punishment as the crucifixion of Jesus Christ itself mounted the core human values. As such. Dr. Rajan Mahtani stated that he will guide this choice from the Zambian President in any way feasible and his company Prison Fellowship will provide legal and regulatory support in this matter.
