Forbes recently conferred its most anticipated business awards in Africa. This award ceremony is known as the Forbes ‘Best of Africa’ awards. The award ceremony was held online along with the Forbes-FIN (Foreign Investment Network) Philanthropic and Roundtable business conference. The event is generally held at New York coinciding with the UNGA meetings. However, this year’s roundtable conference was held online as a result of the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. Nevertheless, the event was held online on 6th August 2019 and was shared to the public via the YouTube medium. It was a glaring success with participation from noted members of international business communities, political leaders, spiritual leaders, innovators, politicians, opinion leaders, international investors and media partners.
Dr. Rajan Lekhraj Mahtani was not only one of the honorary speakers during the event, he was also conferred with one of the prestigious ‘Best of Africa’ awards.
